Improving horses hoof condition?
My TB came to me with appaling feet thanks to his old owner taking his shoes off and no farrier for 9months.
I seem to be fighting a loosing battle with getting the condition back in them,they no longer hurt him but are cracked,split easily and he has a tendency to loose shoes easily in the wet, Ive tried everything from Biotin supplement, healthy hoof food and all manner of hoof treatments.
Can anybody recomend anything that really works?
My farriers excellent but even hes run out of Ideas.
I feed mine Formula4Feet, and dress his feet with a mix of 4 parts linseed oil and 1 part iodine. This really helps him
