Best Buy Horse Rugs

I have just got a horse.?

Hi, i have recently bought a horse and i have found out that it has sweet itch. It is not very bad, but looks very sore.
I have already went and got a ‘ buzz off ‘ rug for him and it is doing well to stop him getting worse, but it looks very sore.
What is the best treatment for this cleaning it up?
thanks very much!
p.s. I have been using sudo crem, EVERYDAY on Ben (the horse) it only makes scabs apper and then ths scabs fall off and it looks raw again. :,( :,(
Thanks for all the help! Some really good things i am gona try! :) :)

its great you already have a rug :) does it have a full neck and tail flap? and if you don’t already get a fly mask for him.
another very very good rug is boett rugs. they are the best at keeping sweet itch under control.
also Kill Itch by Carr Day and Martin is the best stuff ever. its a lotion which is amazing. I would recomend it to anyone.

also if possible try standing him in when the flys are out most. dawn, dusk and mid day.

oh yeah and like the person above said marmite and garlic are great fly repellents so try feeding your horse it. if he will eat it :P

good luck with your horse. :)
