Beef Cattle Jobs

Advice on getting started as a beginning beef cattle rancher…?

serious answers only me and my wife are really serious bout this as a full time job.
we have previous expierience and have been doing this for a good while now we wana start our own though.

The first thing to do in my opinion is to do serious unbiased critique of your available pasture. The person that says you need 10 to 14 acres per cow obviously has done nothing to improve theirs. If you have to have 100 acres for ten cows you are never going to make a go of raising cows. Before you put any cows on pasture spend a couple of years getting it into the best possible shape. Good pasture will cut your costs substantially, having to buy hay is a budget buster big time.
