Australian cattle dogs?
i have a cat who is 4. my brother wants to get a dog and he wants to get an Aussie cattle. we have been reading on the internet about them and i am really scared about my cat. he dosnt do good with animals he just meets. and it says that the dogs like to bite at the ankles of small animals. i am really worried about my cat because i dont want the dog to eat him or hurt him. are they good with cats (the one he wants to get is a puppy)
It depends on the dog and how it is trained.
Yes the Aussie cattle dog will try to herd other animals but if it is well exercised, trained and somehow releases this instinct in another positive way you shouldnt have any problems.
